The OSC joins with the Xtreme Couture GI Foundation

 After meeting Randy Couture and learning about his wonderful organization Kristen Kleist and Xtreme Paintball Park have dedicated the 2010 September event of the OSC to the GI Foundation. The Old School Challenge has pledged the OSC Xtreme STL 2010 event profits will go directly to the Xtreme Couture GI Foundation. We will also be sponsoring auctions and running raffles all for the sake of the GI Foundation. This is our way of thanking America’s extraordinary warriors. September 11 and 12 will be dedicated to America’s Soldiers. Please join us at this phenomenal event as we bring you the same solid competitive tournament event for a spectacular reason.

 Xtreme Couture GI Foundation

The Xtreme Couture GI Foundation is a non-profit corporation that was founded by Randy and Kim Couture to honor the veterans of America's armed forces. The foundation was especially formed to raise money and awareness for those wounded in action and their families. To date, more than 24,000 U.S. troops have been wounded in the war against terrorism, which doesn’t include the many more suffering the mental effects.

 Many of the injuries are traumatic amputations, gunshot wounds, burns and blast injuries that will retire these brave men and woman from the armed forces. Even though some of these men and woman are severely injured, they have the courage, strength and determination to win this battle. Gat Factory Products takes OSC 2009 Season 

I wish to congratulate GAT Factory on behalf of the entire OSC staff and sponsors. This is no small accomplishment. Take time and check out the top teams. Competition is fierce in the OSC so we recognize what it takes to make all the events and do well at each event.

 2009 Oahu Open Paintball in Paradise 

The 5-man event was held on Saturday at Paintball Hawaii. Gat Factory won
the event with Rapture Red close to them with a second place finish. Rapture
also took 3rd place! Gat Factory had some guest players including Derrick
Obatake and Linh Troung to help seal the deal. The 5 man pump winners won a
Large Tiki Trophy plus Steel Flame Silver Dog Tags. Beautiful grass and
shaded bleachers make this air ball only field a great place to play and
watch the action. Located on Wheeler AAF there is ample parking and two air

The 3-man event was held on Sunday at Hawaii All Star Paintball Games.
Located in Honolulu and right off the freeway. All Star has air ball,
recreational, milsim and hyper-ball to choose from. You can visit their

in an extremely close second place. Assasin8 won Oahu Open/ Guerrilla Air
tanks and Steel Flame Silver Dog Tags. Congratulations to Assasin8!

Sal Briguglio - OSC 2009  Lifetime Achievement Award

The event started out wet. Rain pounded down and as we relented to play in the rain it decided not to play with us. The showers stopped but left one very wet field. The teams adjusted and played some great ball. There are some phenomenal teams that made this event and I am glad to have witnessed some superior shooting and as always some of the best sportsmanship in the country. 

To Mr. Sal Briguglio the Old School Challenge was proud to present the Lifetime Achievement award. Mr. Briguglio has been an inspiration to the OSC and has had a tremendous influence in the lives of players and in the industry itself. I personally thank Sal for being the man he is as he has kept me in the industry and kept me motivated to doing things right. Thank you Sal.

To all the teams that made this event I thank you I am sorry I missed Sunday but I have some limitations that I have no control over. Thank you to Rod and Melissa Thompson for running the event on Sunday. To Tore what an awesome field. Xtreme is just an awesome field and we want to thank you for having us. To all you refs I am very proud out the job you did I travel all over the world and ref with hundreds of people and you guys did a top notch job SUPER THANKS. To the OSC Sponsors the SUPER BIG THANK YOU we ask that all you pump players run out and buy their stuff right now to show them how much you appreciate their support. Übermäßig kühl - Old School Challenge - Germany : The OSC Style is moving on to Germany. The Old School Challenge Germany is adopting the OSC Style in and effort to move pump play into Germany. Andreas Platten is working directly with Kristen Kleist to take on this challenge. This will be a 3player format and for Germany this will be unlimited paint. The Old School Challenge Germany will be starting up in April 2008 and will be an affiliated series run by Andreas directly. Kristen and the OSC staff welcome Andreas as an affiliate producer.-More information to follow.
